Paul Mills and Alan Watts discuss their interactions with Hasegawa after his first lectures in San Francisco in 1954 and in 1955, when he returned after accepting a position to teach at the American Academy of Asian Studies. Elise Grilli gives her impressions on both Hasegawa’s art and critical writing.
